2 Bit Players To Perform A Christmas Carol

The 2 Bit Players will present Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol at 6 p.m. Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, and at noon, Sunday, December 7 in Wadleigh Library. Admission is free for students with an I.D. and a suggested donation of $5 for all others.

Chester Becomes Absurd

Chester College's Theatre of the Absurd course will be presenting three student-written, student-directed one act plays Saturday, December 6 at 8 p.m. in the Wadleigh Gallery. Theatre of the Absurd is a course taught by adjunct writing and literature faculty member John Sefel, examining the history of the genre and its influence in modern performance. Utilizing the themes and constructs of the Absurdist style, students have created three original plays ("Giving Credit Where Credit is Due," "Scene from a Gay Restaurant," and "Shrink") examining modern issues important to college students.

The performance is free. Audience discretion is advised as the evening contains strong language and touches on some controversial themes.
