Heidi Whitman visits Chester College September 22

Heidi Whitman will visit Chester College on September 22 as the next artist in the Visiting Artist Symposium. Whitman is a painter and teaches painting at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She has also taught at MassArt and Simmons College. She holds her B.A. from the University of California Berkeley and a diploma from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She has had exhibits in Pierogi in Brooklyn, NY, the Southeastern Louisiana Contemporary Art Gallery, Harvard College, Laconia College, Clark University and Simmons College. Whitman also has collections in The McMullen Museum of Art, Boston University and The Boston Public Library.

The Visiting Artist Symposium lecture starts at 2:30 P.M. in the Wadleigh Library conference room. It is open to the public.
