On Sept. 14th, Writing & Literature instructor Tim Horvath will read at Four Stories in Cambridge, along with three others. The theme will be "The Long Goodbye: Tales of Endings and Loss." In addition, on Oct. 6th He will read at Riverrun Bookstore in Portsmouth, as part of Dzanc Books' Best of the Web 2009 Anthology, for which his story "A Box of One's Own" was an honorable mention.
This November, his story "The Discipline of Shadows" will appear in the journal Conjunctions, and another story, "The Quality of Air," will appear in the Montana-based magazine Drummlummon Views. Finally, his essay "First Do Not Bore" will be released as a chapter in the debut of the Evolutionary Review, a new journal to be published by SUNY Press.
